This movie is set in a small village in Rajasthan, India. It tells the story of a woman named Shanichari who was abandoned by her mother shortly after her father's death. Unfortunately, she married an alcoholic, leaving her with little hope for a bright future for herself and her intellectually disabled son. In Shanichari's lifetime of misfortune, she never cried. Once she was summoned to become a rudaali, it caused great difficulties until the experienced mourner Bhinkni entered her life. [2] Shanichari fell in love with the son of a local landlord, but she was unwilling to ask her wealthy lover for money because she did not want to lower her love in order to escape poverty and pain.
