freeOK概要:A few years before Ruggero Deodato continued to shine in the cannibal subgenre, he directed this film that successfully mimicked Roman Polanski's brilliant 'Knife in the Water'. Of course, as an Italian movie, people are more focused on sex rather than the relationship between the central couple, but the claustrophobic atmosphere and interesting characters help maintain a tense atmosphere, ensuring that the movie is fun throughout the entire process. This movie is not as "attractive" as "The Cannibal Massacre" and most of Ruggero Deodato's other films, but it is clear that even this early film; Deodato is a director with the potential to leave a mark in the film industry. The plot is simple because it only focuses on two couples. George and Silvia invited Irem and Barbara to spend the weekend on their yacht. It was soon discovered that George was not the most sensitive person in history, and Sylvia didn't seem to mind if he treated her badly. The situation escalated, and Irem, Barbara, and Silvia teamed up to retaliate against George... and of course, there was also a three-way sexual act. Most of the time this movie was filmed on a yacht, which provided a great backdrop for the filming. The isolated background means that Deodato can focus his attention on the characters, which is definitely a good thing for the movie. As is the case with many Italian junk movies, some characters' actions are a bit suspicious and the dialogue is basically empty - but these things don't bother me too much, and watching 'Wave of Desire' is very interesting. There are many sexual scenes in this movie, although there are few bloody scenes, it is not important because the focus is very clear. There are no particularly well-known actors in this movie, although all four core actors will continue to star in more well-known Italian films. John Steiner is the most outstanding performer, performing well alongside the charming Elizabeth Turner and Silvia Dionisio. Al Cliver (from "Zombie Meat Eater") surrounds the central quartet in a circle. Overall, 'Wave of Desire' is definitely worth watching. The atmosphere and tension are both good, and it all boils down to a satisfactory conclusion.
